I think this is the richest suit system. Not only in Germany cards are found with the suits heart , bell , leaf and acorn , but also in Austrian and in several countries of the former K & K monarchy such as Hungary, Czeck Republic and South Tirol. Even in Russia they used to print cards with these suit symbols.
