Description: The Neuchâtel Pattern has been obsolete for more than 70 years, therefore, it is hard to find.
The special thing about this particular deck is that it is the first double ended version → all court cards have the suit index on the same side as in the single faced version (compare here), which means that these five cards have the suit symbol on the right hand side: Spade King and Queen; Heart Jack, Diamond Queen and Club King. This was soon corrected by mirroring those five cards and therefore, the double ended version, where five cards have the suit index on the right hand side are very rare, while with the suit symbol is on the left hand side is rather common.
